The Thursday Morning Club, a member of the NJSFWC (NJ Federated Women’s Clubs) and the GFWC (General Federation of Women’s Clubs), owns, operates and maintains the Madison Community House and the Before and After School Child Care program (BASCC).
The BASCC Summer Camp runs from June 20, 2016 until Au!gust 19, 2016. It is held Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Sign up may be for all nine weeks or for a portion of that. It is located in the Madison Community House at 25 Cook Ave. and opened to all elementary school aged children.
Each day starts with a light breakfast snack and goes on to recreational sports and games, arts and crafts, cooking and baking, hiking and walking. Quiet time; board games or reading. Afternoon snacks. On top of these offerings, each day a special activity is scheduled. Some of these are musical programs, library trips, movies and fitness programs and sports activities.
