These Streets In Chatham Will Be Closed For Road Work: See List

Residents are asked to remove all vehicles from the affected streets.

CHATHAM, NJ — The Chatham Borough Department of Public Works will begin milling and paving operations on Tuesday.

The work is scheduled daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Road improvements are planned for Edgewood Road (Lafayette Avenue to the town line), Chatham Street (Lafayette Avenue to the dead end), Lincoln Avenue (Chatham Street to the dead end), and Front Street (Washington Avenue to the dead end).

Residents are asked to remove all vehicles from the affected streets by 7 a.m. as no on-street parking or vehicle access will be permitted during construction.

Garbage and recycling collection will continue as scheduled, with materials placed at the curb by 6 a.m. on collection days.
