Three Lethal Batches Of Heroin Identified, Some Don't Respond To Narcan

Three lethal batches of heroin sold in New Jersey have been identified by the distinctly stamped wax folds they’re distributed in.

Six recent overdose-related deaths have been linked to wax folds labeled Power Hour, Taliban, and Strike Dead – some which contain substances that won’t respond to Narcan.

Laboratory analysis conducted by The New Jersey Regional Operations and Intelligence Center (ROIC) revealed the drugs sold as heroin contain “potent and dangerous drug combinations not typically seen” and some do not contain any traces of heroin at all.

“Today’s public service announcement serves only to notify individuals who may be possession of this contaminated batch of drugs, which has proven to be lethal on several occasions,” according to the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office.
