Transformer 'Explosion' Cuts Power To 500 In Chatham
The outage is focused around North Passaic Avenue, police said.
CHATHAM, NJ - A transformer explosion has robbed power to around 500 residents in Chatham Borough Wednesday afternoon, according to officials.
Officials said the outage is focused around North Passaic Avenue and that JCP&L have been notified and are on-scene.
According to the JCP&L outage map, there is an estimated restoration time of 3:30 p.m.
