Teens Arrested in Connection with Robbery

As part of the ongoing investigation, a 14-year-old male from was arrested and charged by Det. Joseph Crecca with conspiracy to commit robbery and receiving stolen property on Feb. 28, according to police.

The teen was lodged in Morris County Juvenile Detention Center, police said.

On March 2, Det. Daniel Walsh arrested Christopher Velasquez, 18, of and charged him with conspiracy to commit robbery, according to police.

Velasquez was processed and remanded to the Morris County Correctional Facility as he was unable to post the $10,000 bail, police said.

This is Velasquez's second arrest in two months. He was also in February by Chatham Borough Police. After that arrest he was released pending further court action, according to police.
