Unlicensed Driver Arrested On Multiple Warrants: Chatham Police
Julius Conaway was wanted in multiple municipalities, police said.
CHATHAM, NJ - A 32-year-old East Orange man was arrested for multiple contempt of court warrants on June 10, according to the Chatham Boroigh Police Department.
According to authorities, at approximately 9:55 p.m. Officer Kyle Beasley arrested Julius
Conaway on multiple active contempt of court warrants issued by several municipalities.
Beasley said the vehicle driven by Conaway ran through a red light and he initiated a motor vehicle stop. A customary check indicated that Conaway's driver’s license was suspended along with the numerous warrants, police said.

Conaway was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters for processing. The municipal courts were contacted and released Conaway on his own recognizance pending a court appearance, police said.
Conaway was issued traffic summonses for driving while suspended and for a seat belt violation. He was also issued a written warning for the red-light infraction, police said.
