Warrant Arrest In Chatham Borough: Police

Sekou Camara was driving without a license, police said.

CHATHAM, NJ - A 48-year-old Jersey City man was arrested on a contempt of court warrant after a motor vehicle stop on Aug. 22, according to the Chatham Borough Police Department.

Officer Agnes Cisek arrested Sekou Camara on an active contempt of court warrant issued by the Municipality of Waldwick after a random license plate check, police said.

In addition, the check also revealed that his driver’s license was suspended, police said. A traffic stop was initiated and Camara was taken into custody and transported to Police Headquarters for processing.

The Waldwick Municipal Court was contacted and released Camara on his own recognizance pending a court appearance. Before his release, Camara was issued a traffic citation for driving while suspended, police said.
