Watch Sergeant 'Clap Out' In Chatham Borough
The Chatham Borough Police Department celebrated Mike Mahoney as he ended his career Wednesday.
CHATHAM, NJ - At noon Wednesday Chatham Borough Police Sgt. Michael Mahoney called it a career, ending his 25 years of service to the community with a "clap out" ceremony.
The bagpipes were played, a helicopter hovered over Chatham Borough Hall and first responders from around the area clapped out as Mahoney made his final call to county dispatch.
