Who Is On The 2019 Ballot And Where To Vote In Chatham

CHATHAM, NJ - On Tuesday, Nov. 5 voters will be heading to the polls to cast their ballots in the general election. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

We sent out questions to all local candidates involved in the race. Links to those who responded are attached to their names. You can click on them to read more about the candidates who chose to participate.

Chatham Borough and Township have contested races to contend with this election cycle.

In Chatham Township, incumbent Mayor Tayfun Selen lost the GOP nomination to Rez Estevez and Mark F. Hamilton. Estevez and Hamilton are facing Democrat Stacey Ewald and Celeste Fondaco.

Over in Chatham Borough, Republican candidate for mayor Robert A. Weber earned his party's nomination and is facing Democrat Thaddeus Kobylarz.

The council race is set for November as Republicans Paul Kelley and Stacey McEvoy are facing Democrats Irene Treloar and Karen Koronkiewicz.

Residents will also vote on in races outside of the Chathams.

Current Sheriff, the Republican James M. Gannon, is running for reelection. He is being challenged by Democrat William Schivella.

Democrat Michael T. Thompson is facing off against Republican Heather Darling for the surrogate seat.

Three seats on the Board of Chosen Freeholders are up for election. Republicans Douglas Cabana, Thomas Mastrangelo and Kathy DeFillippo are running against Democrats Cara Parmigiani, Cary Amaro, and David Timpanaro.

Your election district and voting location are printed on the face of your Sample Ballot, which is mailed to registered voters before an election.
