1 Dead After 2-Vehicle Crash In Cherry Hill

The crash happened a little after 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, the Cherry Hill Police Chief told Patch.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday in Cherry Hill, the municipality's police chief told Patch.

At about 6:39 p.m, a motorcycle that was heading east on Haddonfield-Berlin Road in the area of McIntosh Road collided with a vehicle, police said. The motorcycle's driver, a 22-year-old man From Marlton, was taken to Cooper Hospital where he later died, police continued.

The vehicle's driver was taken to Virtua Hospital with minor injuries, according to police.

Berlin Road between Walt Whitman Boulevard and Evesham Road was closed for approximately 4 hours while the accident was investigated and crews cleaned up the scene, according to the Cherry Hill Police Department's Facebook page.

The accident was still being investigated as of Friday afternoon, police said.
