Police Investigating Fatal Accident In Cherry Hill

CHERRY HILL, NJ — An unidentified person was killed after being hit by a car in Cherry Hill Thursday night, police said. The accident took place at about 10:24 p.m. along the eastbound lanes of Route 38 at Longwood Avenue in front of McDonald's, Cherry Hill police said Friday night.

Police have identified the victim, but are withholding that information, pending notification of next-of-kin. The driver remained on the scene following the accident, and has been cooperating with police.
