1 Westbound Lane Of Walt Whitman Bridge Closed Thursday Morning

WALT WHITMAN BRIDGE - Pennsylvania-bound traffic on the Walt Whitman Bridge could be slower than usual this morning, the Delaware River Port Authority said.

One westbound lane into the city is closed so crews can fix the barrier mover machine on the bridge, the authority said.

The barrier wall that divides the east and westbound lanes can not be moved to meet traffic demand until the machine is fixed, the authority continued.

The repairs should be done in time for the evening rush hour, according to the authority.
