$10K In Water Bottles Donated To Cooper Health Amid Outbreak

Cooper University Health Care has received a large donation of protein water from a Pennsylvania-based sports nutrition company to help its workers combat the outbreak of new coronavirus.

Pittsburgh-based Ready Nutrition donated 612 cases of its protein water — about 7,300 bottles — worth nearly $10,000 to Cooper, the health care system announced on Tuesday.

“We appreciate Ready Nutrition, and Pat Cavanaugh and Aaron Donald, for this generous donation to Cooper and is another great example of businesses supporting our frontline clinical staff,” Cooper co-president/CEO Kevin O’Dowd said.

“This is a generous gift, which is much appreciated, that will directly benefit and invigorate Cooper’s dedicated staff who are working long, hard hours and selflessly giving of themselves to help people in need,” Cooper co-president/CEO Anthony J. Mazzarelli said.
