2 Charged With Murder In NJ Shooting That Kills Woman, Hospitalizes Man: Prosecutor

Both victims were found in a vehicle after they had been shot, authorities said.

MILLVILLE, NJ — Two people were charged Sunday after a shooting killed a woman and hospitalized a man last weekend in Cumberland County, authorities said.

Eric Bundy-Johnson and Francessa Delvarre were charged for their roles in Saturday's shooting in Millville, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office (CCPO).

Police responded to the shooting at about 10:30 a.m. Saturday, when both victims were suffering from gunshot wounds in a vehicle by 15 E Green St.

Bonnie Hitchens, 41, of Bridgeton, was unresponsive in the passenger's seat. She was later pronounced dead at Inspira Medical Center Vineland.

The driver — a 32-year-old Millville man — was brought to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. He was in stable condition as of Monday morning.

Bundy-Johnson and Delvalle — both 34, of Vineland — were arrested Sunday and both charged with murder and conspiracy. Bundy-Johnson was also charged with criminal attempt, certain persons not to have a weapon, and unlawful possession of a weapon. Delvalle was charged with hindering and tampering.
