2 Charged In PNC Bank Robbery In Cherry Hill: Prosecutors

Two men are facing first-degree robbery charges after employees at the bank were passed a note demanding money, prosecutors said.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Two men are facing numerous charges after authorities said they robbed a South Jersey bank earlier this week.

Cory Amerman, 32, of Marlton, and 48-year-old Admir Hoornaert of Glassboro were both charged with first-degree robbery following the Tuesday incident, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release.

According to prosecutors, Amerman entered PNC Bank at 803 Haddonfield Rd. in Cherry Hill around 2:40 p.m. and passed workers a note demanding money. Employees gave him cash and Amerman fled the bank, prosecutors said.

During the investigation, prosecutors said authorities located Amerman with Hoornaert in Camden City and took both men into custody.

Hoornaert was also charged with receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, prosecutors said.

Both men are currently in custody at Camden County Correctional Facility.
