2 Pedestrians Struck, Hospitalized In Cherry Hill Hit-And-Run: Police

Authorities are seeking the driver responsible for injuring 2 people on Route 38.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Police are seeking witnesses after a hit-and-run incident injured two pedestrians in Cherry Hill.

Authorities responded to the crash just after 12:15 a.m. Sunday. A man and a woman tried to cross Route 38 at Longwood Avenue, when a vehicle struck them in the intersection, police said.

The vehicle then continued westbound on Route 38, according to law enforcement. The victims were taken to the hospital with non-fatal injuries.

Police described the striking vehicle as a dark-colored pickup truck — possibly a Chevrolet or GMC — with damage to the front driver's side near the headlight assembly.
