2016 IBD Conference

Fifteen doctors talk about issues on Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Open to the Public and Medical Professionals welcome. Nov. 16, Cherry Hill

IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) affects over 1.6 million Americans. It’s an inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract that causes painful symptoms including stomach cramps, bloating and constipation. Psychological effects include depression, isolation and anxiety.

Fifteen gastroenterologists will talk about issues associated with IBD at the annual Dr. Stephen Matarazzo IBD Conference November 16 at the Crowne Plaza in Cherry Hill from 11am until 5pm. There are sessions for medical professionals and the public. Public: $20. Includes lunch. Medical professionals: $75-100 includes lunch and 4.5 CMEs.

Topics include raising a child with IBD, new treatments and dealing with psychological effects presented by Philadelphia author Linda Kriger.
