From an IKEA concept store to an indoor pickleball club, several new establishments are on their way to South Jersey.
SOUTH JERSEY — There's always something new in South Jersey. Here are four businesses and restaurants in the region that have recently opened or have been planned for the future.
Alebrijes Cafe & Sweets
223 Kings Hwy., Haddonfield

A cafe in Haddonfield has closed, but another opened in its place. Alebrijes offers a variety tortas, tacos and sweets — along with hot and cold beverages. The business replaced The Cookie Basket, which decided to close late last year. Read more.

After a fire in its shopping complex last summer, Swirl'in says it will reopen soon. The shop specializes in cereal-infused ice cream, offering a range of customizable frozen treats. Read more.
ACE Pickleball Club
East Gate Square shopping center (1191 Nixon Dr., Mount Laurel)
A new indoor club for the nation's fastest-growing sport is on its way. ACE allows members to use their courts anytime they're open. There's no need to schedule playing time or bring a partner, since courts are divided by skill level. There's also a location in Voorhees. Read more.
IKEA 'Plan & Order Point'
Ellisburg Shopping Center (22 Route 70, Cherry Hill)
IKEA is bringing one of its concept stores to South Jersey. The "plan & order point" stores are a fraction of the typical IKEA size, allowing customers to meet with staff to plan out purchases for delivery or scheduled pickups. Cherry Hill's store is slated to open this summer. Read more.
