A pedestrian suffered non life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car on Route 38 Thursday morning.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — A pedestrian suffered non life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car on Route 38 in Cherry Hill Thursday morning, according to police.
The accident happened early Thursday morning, and the striking car remained on the scene, police said.
Route 38 west was closed between Chapel Avenue and Longwood Avenue during rush hour, but was reopened at about 8:15 a.m.
