Amazon 4-Star Store Nixes Plans For Cherry Hill Mall: Report
A seafood restaurant, women's clothier coming to the mall later this year, the mall's owner says.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — Citing a change in business strategy, Amazon will not be opening a 4-star store at the Cherry Hill Mall this year, phillyvoice.com reported.
The Amazon 4-star store, which was scheduled to open in the first half of this year, would have sold a variety of best-selling items from its website.
All other physical Amazon 4-star locations, along with the company's brick-and-mortar Amazon Pop Up and Amazon Books locations, are closing, Amazon said. The decision has no impact on other Amazon entities like Amazon Go, Amazon Fresh, and Whole Foods Market, according to Amazon.
