CHERRY HILL, NJ — A man was shot outside the Liberty Bell Shopping Center Wednesday afternoon, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office said.
At around 4 p.m., Cherry Hill Police officers responded to the parking lot for a report of someone who was shot in a vehicle.
A 61-year-old man was taken to the hospital where he is in stable condition, according to officials.
No arrests have been made and the situation appears to be isolated.
The Cherry Hill Police Department had asked residents to avoid the area of Route 70 East and Split Rock Drive due to "activity" in the area.
A large presence of officers may still be on scene, working to gather information.
