CHERRY HILL, NJ — Artists and art enthusiasts are invited to enjoy the creativity of South Jersey at the "Art Blooms" juried art exhibit from May 3 through May 14 at the Croft Farm Arts Center.

The annual event put on by Cherry Hill Township and the Cherry Hill Arts Board welcomes all ages and levels to submit their two-dimensional works with no theme or residency requirements.

"These events provide a wonderful opportunity for residents to experience high-quality arts programming right in their own neighborhood," Mayor Dave Fleisher told Patch.

The public will be able to view the gallery for free, with most of the artwork also available for purchase.

All funds from sales go to the artist, Cherry Hill Township said.

Those looking to enter their work can do a maximum of three submissions at $10 each. While not every work will be chosen, Chief of Staff and Business Administrator for the Township, Brian Bauerle, said there is no shortage of subjects that are due for appreciation in the area.

"Cherry Hill if full of great art inspiration, from our parks and open spaces to public and historic buildings...there isn't enough wall space to include it all!" said Bauerle.

After registering online or filling out a printed out paper copy, artists can drop their work off at the venue on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. (100 Bortons Mill Rd).

A free "Meet the Artists Night" is also taking place at the Croft Farm Arts Center on May 5 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Light refreshments will be served during the celebration of the talent in the region. Prizes will also be awarded for certain submissions.

The Cherry Hill Arts Board started the Art Blooms event more than 30 years ago as a one-day show.

Along with this year's installment, there will be a photography showcase that follows a similar structure in the Fall of 2026.
