Jalsa Indian Kitchen in Somerdale Launches Weekend Lunch Buffet

Jalsa Indian Kitchen opened two years ago as an al a carte dining restaurant with an extensive menu of Indian food favorites winning them many fans.

However, the popular Indian restaurant in Somerdale recently introduced its first-ever weekend lunch buffet, giving diners an opportunity to sample a wide variety of Jalsa favorites in one sitting.

Available Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the buffet features a rotating selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, including curries, biryani, chaat, fresh naan, desserts and more. Water is provided at every table, while other drinks are pay as you go. The regular menu is also still available.

For anyone who is newer to Indian cuisine, a buffet is also one of the best ways to explore dishes. Instead of committing to one entrée, guests can try a little of everything, discover new flavors and then go back for more of the dishes they love.

The buffet is $19.99 for adults and $12 for children ages 5–10, while children 4 and younger eat free.

Jalsa has become a familiar part of the Somerdale dining scene over the past two years, and the new buffet gives local diners another reason to stop in on the weekend—especially groups where everyone wants something different.
