• Route 70 roadwork is almost finished in South Jersey after 5 years and $155M (inquirer.com) — If you drive Route 70 through Cherry Hill, your long construction headaches are nearly over, with the $155 million rebuild from Pennsauken to Marlton slated to be essentially finished this year. Only a few new traffic signals, final paving, and striping remain, promising smoother travel, better drainage, and safer sidewalks for Cherry Hill residents and commuters.
   

• Cherry Hill schools to hire mental health clinician with opioid funds (thedailyjournal.com) — Cherry Hill is using opioid settlement money to fund a new mental health clinician for its high schools, with $240,000 committed over two years and more funds still unspent. Mayor David Fleisher and school leaders say the position, plus LEAD programming in middle schools, is meant to better support students' mental health and prevent substance use across the township.
