CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — The polls are closed, and the results are being tallied for the Camden County Board of Commissioners battle at the ballot box.
Among the major issues on the minds of voters is an increase in the county's open space tax to fund a $400 million plan that would upgrade flood mitigation efforts and old infrastructure.
Housing and homelessness initiatives and advances in the fight against opioid addiction are also topics of concern.
Board members each serve three-year terms.
Of the candidates on the ballot, both Cappelli, Jr. and Young are currently serving.
Here are the latest tallies (Votes last updated at 9:49 p.m. EST on Nov. 3):
- Camden County Board of Commissioners (Choose Two)
Total Camden County Precincts Reporting: 276 of 343
1. Louis Cappelli, Jr. (D): 113,157
