Police responded to the incident just before 10:45 a.m. at Philly Diamond Connection — a jewelry store inside the mall. Management reported that two armed assailants held workers at gunpoint while emptying the store's safe.

The unidentified suspects then fled the mall and entered a black SUV with no license plates, authorities said. The vehicle, which was parked on the south side of the mall lot, was last seen heading eastbound on Church Road, according to law enforcement.
