Babies"R"Us Returns To Camden County, Opens Inside Kohl's

The retailer has made a comeback after years out of business, launching at different Kohl's stores.

VOORHEES, NJ — Babies"R"Us is back in Camden County.

The retailer launched a comeback earlier this year, planning to open inside select Kohl's stores. One location recently opened inside Kohl's of Voorhees.

Kohl's plans to bring Babies"R"Us to 200 stores by the end of this year, with each assortment ranging from 750 to 2,500 square feet of baby gear and apparel. Babies"R"Us has opened in Kohl's of Mantua, while another is coming to the Turnersville store.

Babies"R"Us began closing stores in 2018 after Toys"R"Us filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. WHP Global, a New York-based investment firm, acquired both brands in 2021.

Last year, Babies"R"Us re-emerged with a new flagship location at the American Dream mall in North Jersey, where Toys"R"Us also opened a flagship store.

Much like Babies"R"Us at Kohl's, Toys"R"Us has opened hundreds of locations within Macy's stores.

Kohl's of Voorhees is located in Cooper Plaza (79 Route 73).
