Blood Drive At Cherry Hill Community Center Set For Aug. 24
The blood donation event includes Power Red donations and a more common blood drive.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — The American Red Cross will host a blood drive in Cherry Hill later this month. The drive will take place from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 24 at the Cherry Hill Community Center, 820 Mercer Street.
The drive will include Power Red donations, in which the red cells are collected, but most of the plasma and platelets are returned to the donor. These donors must meet specific eligibility requirements and have type A Neg, B Neg, or O blood.
