Camden Catholic Football Falls to Delbarton in Playoff Semis
The Irish end their run in the Non-Public, Group 3 playoffs.

One upset was all Camden Catholic’s football team could pull off in the playoffs this year.
After upending Pope John in the first round, the No. 6 Irish had little answer for Morris County powerhouse and No. 2 seed Delbarton, ranked No. 10 overall in the state by the Newark Star-Ledger, which handed the Irish a 45-6 drubbing in the Non-Public, Group 3 semifinals Saturday.
The Green Wave put up 24 points by halftime—including a 99-yard fumble return by Eric Fajardo—and scored in all four quarters.

The Irish got their lone touchdown from Temple-bound Jarred Alwan, who scored in the third quarter—well after the game had gotten out of hand.
