Camden Co. Driving Range To Close Longterm For Renovations
The range will operate for a few more weeks, before significant upgrades expected to last until spring.
PENNSAUKEN, NJ — Get your swings in before it's too late.
The Camden County Driving Range at Cooper River Park will close longterm for renovations, starting Oct. 27. Work is expected to last until March, according to the Camden County Parks Department, which manages the golf center.
The $600,000 renovation project includes replacing the second-level concrete deck, lighting upgrades and new fencing.

Cooper River Park's golf center features a 60-station, double-decker driving range with grass tees. It also has a short-game area with a putting green and sand trap.
It's located at 8001 S Crescent Blvd., Pennsauken.

The driving range typically stays open in the winter, when heated hitting bays are available.
"The Camden County Driving Range is one of the most well used and loved amenities throughout our county park system," said County Commissioner Jeffrey Nash, liaison to the parks department. "These upgrades will ensure that this facility can continue serving our community for years to come, and I look forward to seeing the finished project this spring."
