Camden Co. Man With Child Porn Sentenced To Prison

Bruce Makley, of Voorhees, was also sentenced to 10 years of supervised release.

VOORHEES, NJ – A Voorhees man was sentenced to 80 months in prison for possessing child porn, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said.

Bruce Makley, 68, of Voorhees, Camden County, previously pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Robert B. Kugler to an information charging him with one count of possession of child pornography.

He was sentenced on Wednesday, in Camden federal court.

According to court documents, on Aug. 14, 2020, law enforcement agents executed a search warrant at Makley’s residence.

He admitted possessing more than 600 images of child sexual abuse, including images of sadistic or masochistic conduct or other depictions of violence, or sexual abuse or exploitation of an infant or toddler, Sellinger said.

In addition to the prison term, Makley was sentenced to 10 years of supervised release, and ordered to pay $152,000 in restitution.
