Camden County Man Fled From Fatal Crash: Police

PENNSAUKEN, NJ — A driver fled the scene of a fatal crash Tuesday in Pennsauken, police said.

The collision with a pedestrian occurred just before 7 p.m. on the 5200 block of Route 38 eastbound, according to law enforcement. Richard Marte, 27, of Pennsauken was apprehended after fleeing the scene, police said.

The crash killed Michael Lannon, 59, of Pennsauken, officials said.

Further details about the crash weren't immediately available. Local and county law enforcement continue to investigate the matter.
