Cars Catch Fire After Tree, Power Lines Fall At South Jersey Apartments: Authorities

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Firefighters are at The Grand apartments building after a group of cars caught fire on Monday.

The Cherry Hill Fire Department responded to the area along Frontage Road where a tree limb fell on power lines.

The wire then landed on unoccupied parked cars.

One vehicle caught fire and the flames spread to others nearby, officials added.

No injuries were reported.

The apartments have also lost power as of early Monday evening.

An estimated restoration time was not released.
