Celebrate Noon Year's Eve With Cherry Hill's Garden State Discovery Museum

The entire museum will be singing and dancing, counting down to 2017 with what it is calling its biggest celebration yet.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Happy Noon Year’s! The Garden State Discovery Museum will hold is New Year’s celebration for children — and adults — not old enough to stay up until midnight on Saturday, Dec. 31, at noon, and 3 p.m.

The entire museum will be singing and dancing, counting down to 2017 with what it is calling its biggest celebration yet. On New Year’s Day, the museum will accommodate party goers old enough to celebrate the holiday in the traditional style.

The Garden State Discovery Museum will open at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017. Children who show up to the museum in their pajamas before noon get into the museum for free that day.

The Garden State Discovery Museum is located at 2040 Springdale Road in Cherry Hill. It is a hands-on center for infants through 10 year olds.

It offers more than 20 larger than life, kid-powered interactive exhibit areas, and each one is an invitation to touch, explore and create.

The museum is open 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily, with extended hours until 8:30 p.m. Saturdays from October through April.

Admission is $13.95 for adults and children; $12.95 for seniors. Children younger than 12 months are admitted free.
