Cherry Hill Boys' XC 12th at States
The Cougars improve their standing for the third straight year.

Ben Dillon raced to a top-25 finish and the Cherry Hill East boysâ cross-country team scored its best team finish since 2009 at the state Group 4 meet at Holmdel Park Saturday.
Dillon came in at 16:49, followed almost immediately by teammate Mike Minion, who was just a second behind Dillon and only two spots back at 27th overall.
Dan Helfand (17:15, 59th), Chris Mele (17:43, 94th) and Jared Dashevsky (17:44, 95th) gave the Cougars five runners in the top 100.

The 12th place as a team is the third straight year East has seen improvementâthe Cougars were 16th in 2010 and 15th in 2011.
