Cherry Hill, County Pair Up on Cherry Hill East Connector Trail
A rebuilt version of a cut through the woods behind East will make it easier for athletes and trainers to get to satellite fields.
Things just got a whole lot easier for Cherry Hill East athletes who bushwacked through the forest behind the high school to get to some of the satellite fields.
Gone are the ruts and roots, replaced by a wide stone path, making for an easier run to Richterman Field and the DeCou complex farther down Cropwell Roadâand not just for soccer players, but for the trainers who had to try to navigate their vehicles among the trees.
It all came together this fall with a $25,000 grant from the county, which covered the materials and the bulk of the labor for the project, which rebuilt the 1/3 mile trail.
