Cherry Hill Holding Martin Luther King Jr. Food Drive

The food drive runs through Jan. 18.

CHERRY HILL, NJ - Cherry Hill has launched a food drive in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. in advance of Martin Luther King Day. Items collected between now and Jan. 18 will directly benefit the Animal Welfare Association, the Cherry Hill Food Pantry; the Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge; JFCS Food Pantry; Little Hands, Little Feet; the Cherry Hill Library; and the Cathedral Kitchen.

The township is asking for the following items, to be dropped off at the library and the municipal building:
  • Paper products;
  • Canned goods;
  • Shampoo;
  • Deodorant;
  • Laundry detergent;
  • Socks;
  • Plastic utensils;
  • Floor cleaner;
  • Trash bags;
  • Non-perishable food;
  • Diapers;
  • Children’s coats;
  • Books;
  • Hats;
  • Gloves;
  • Mittens;
  • Pillows;
  • DVDs; and
  • Video games.
