Cherry Hill Honors Dogs Serving As K9 Officers
There have been 46 years of K9 teams serving the Township of Cherry Hill.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — The Cherry Hill Police Department honored members of its furry force on Friday.
"K9 Veterans Day" was celebrated as a nationwide showcase of the dangerous work dogs find themselves in alongside their handlers every day.
"We would like to thank all K9s, past and present, along with their handlers, for their dedication, service, and sacrifice in helping keep our communities safe," the Department added on social media.

The Cherry Hill unit has five K9s currently on its force.
While all the dogs perform general patrol, K9s Chase, Ringo, Bravo, and Lasko handle drug cases.

Along with the 2026 force, there have been 25 K9 teams that have served the Township of Cherry Hill over the last 46 years.
