Cherry Hill Now Has A Mobile App

The new 'My Cherry Hill' app​ gives residents another way to get alerts, make requests and report concerns to the local government.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Cherry Hill has gone mobile.

The township government has launched the "My Cherry Hill" app, allowing residents to receive alerts, submit service requests and report concerns from their smartphones, officials announced Monday.

After creating an account, users can select which types of notifications they receive. The app also residents to pay their tax and sewer bills, view the township calendar, and request public documents under the Open Public Records Act (OPRA).

"The app will allow us to send 'push' notifications with important updates on traffic, public safety and township events," Mayor Dave Fleisher said in a statement.

Cherry Hill also redesigned its website for greater functionality and accessibility as part of Fleisher's efforts to improve township communication. The new website features "storefronts" on each department page to make it easier for residents to find the services they need.
