Cherry Hill Mall Briefly Evacuated Over False Alarm

The mall was partially evacuated on Tuesday.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — The Cherry Hill Mall was briefly evacuated due to a false alarm on Tuesday, according to Cherry Hill Marketing Director Lisa Wolstromer. It has since reopened.

An alarm was accidentally tripped during construction on Tuesday, Wolstromer told Patch. The mall was partially evacuated for about 15 minutes early Tuesday afternoon.

It was fully reopened as of 1:30 p.m., after the Cherry Hill Fire Department gave the all-clear, Wolstromer said. It remains open until 9:30 p.m.
