Cherry Hill Man Dies After Getting Into Hit-And-Run: Police

He died two days after striking a vehicle and getting hospitalized, authorities said.

CAMDEN, NJ — A Cherry Hill man died after hitting a parked car and fleeing the scene Thursday in Camden, authorities said.

The 64-year-old Cherry Hill resident was hospitalized after the crash and pronounced dead two days later. Police have not released his name.

At about 3:30 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported that a 2022 Ford Maverick hit a parked car on 10th Street and Atlantic Avenue before fleeing the scene.

Officers found the involved driver a few blocks away, on Haddon and Euclid avenues, according to a Camden County Police Department spokesperson.

The man was brought to Cooper Medical Center. He was pronounced dead on Saturday.
