“It is with great pain that we announce two additional deaths caused by COVID-19 in Camden County today. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families, and we are wishing a fast recovery to all those who are currently combating the disease,” Camden County Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli Jr. said. “Over the last week, Camden County has averaged fewer than 30 new cases per day. This was not thinkable a month ago when we were seeing between 80 and 90 cases each day. This is due entirely to the actions of our residents who are wearing masks, staying home, and taking steps to reduce the likelihood that they contract or spread coronavirus. If we continue to take these actions, we can keep the spread of this disease low in our community, and we can save hundreds or thousands of lives in the process.”
