Tuesday Is National Night Out In Cherry Hill

The celebration includes a dunk tank, music, food and prizes.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — National Night Out is upon us. Cherry Hill’s annual celebration will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017, at the municipal building, 6 p.m.-8:30 p.m. The municipal building is located at 820 Mercer Street in Cherry Hill.

Activities set for that night include an impaired driver simulated course, a dunk tank, a police obstacle course, touch-a-vehicle, a K-9 demonstration, music, food and prizes.

National Night Out is an initiative in which people in towns across the country gather at their homes, on their streets and at their local community centers in recognition of their support of the community.

Local state and federal officials from 15,728 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide joined forces to celebrate the 33rd annual National Night Out (NNO) – a community crime and safety event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch, ADT, Nextdoor.com, Association and Fun Flicks. Throughout the nation, along with the traditional ‘lights on’ and front porch vigils, there were tens of thousands of block parties, cookouts, and parades.
