Cherry Hill Residents Can Report Flood Damage To Township
Anyone who suffered damage in last week's flooding can contact the Cherry Hill Office of Emergency Management to file a claim.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — Anyone in Cherry Hill who experienced damage due to the flooding that came as a result of last week’s heavy rains can seek an insurance claim through the Cherry Hill Office of Emergency Management (OEM), police said on Monday.
Anyone seeking a claim can contact Cherry Hill Emergency Management Coordinator Dennis Moore via email: dmoore@cherryhillpolice.com, using their address as a subject line. In the email, residents should include name, address, contact phone, a brief synopsis of the damage, photos of the damage, and whether or not you are filing a claim with your insurance.
Cherry Hill OEM is completing preliminary damage assessments to forward to the county for potential disaster relief. Basement, crawlspaces and cellars that received water, but were mitigated by the homeowner with little to no property loss will be noted as an affected structure. That number has already been estimated based on previous incidents, but anyone who feels it should reported can report it and officials will make note of it.
