Cherry Hill School Board Set To Appoint New Member
Quadsia Niaz could replace Jennifer Fleisher, who resigned from the school board after her husband was elected township mayor.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — Cherry Hill's Board of Education will hold a vote Tuesday to appoint a new member to its ranks.
If the vote passes, Quadsia Niaz would join the district's school board. The governing body has had a vacant seat since Dec. 31, when Board Member Jennifer Fleisher resigned.
Fleisher announced that month that she would step down, citing the election of her husband, Dave Fleisher, as Cherry Hill's mayor.
