The “assessment” information printed on both post cards is correct. However, the “net taxes billed” figure on the original mailing may be incorrect, and is now accurate in the revised card.

Please note, that the purpose of the assessment post card—as required by state statute-- is to notify a tax payer of their assessment and the appeal process if they disagree with the assessment. This card is not a detailed tax bill, which is mailed to property owners separately.

As a friendly reminder, the post card should not be used to determine property taxes paid in the previous year for income tax purposes. The net taxes billed number does not include any rebates or credits a property owner may have received during the year.

We apologize for any inconvenience this error may have caused, and are pleased it has been corrected promptly. For additional questions or inquiries please call the Assessor Office at (856) 488-7899 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
