Cherry Hill West Scores Five Times To Down Highland, Advance In Playoffs

Four different players scored in the Lions' win.

Cherry Hill, NJ -- Elliot Cumba found the back of the net twice as the fourth-seeded Cherry Hill High School West boys soccer team ousted No. 13 Highland, 5-1, in the first round of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 playoffs on Monday, according to nj.com.

Pat Huegel, Jason Kahan and Dimitri Malliaros also scored for the Lions. Ryan McMillan and Andrew Robertson split time in goal, making two saves apiece.

Jack Pisani scored the lone goal for Highland. Goalie Zach Nagel stopped eight shots.

Cherry Hill West will host No. 12 Seneca, which upset No. 5 Absegami in the first round, in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.
