Cherry Hill West Wrestling Team Captures Holiday Tournament Title
The Lions won the Bart Payne Holiday Tournament at Haddon Township, according to nj.com.
CHERRY HILL, NJ - The Cherry Hill High School West wrestling team took home four individual titles en route to the team championship at the Bart Payne Holiday Tournament at Haddon Township High School, according to nj.com.
Cherry Hill West compiled 231.5 points to win the title, followed by second-place Eastern with 224 points. Host Haddon Township edged Gateway by three points. Haddon had 167.5 points, and Gateway had 164.5.
John Howe (138), Xavier Barker (160), Dominic Ummarino (182) and Max Sullivan (220), all brought home individual titles for Cherry Hill West. Brandon Drea (106), Shane Thompson (113), Jaden Reyes (126), Kyle Edwards (132) and Sean Tyler (145) all advanced to the finals in their individual weight classes.
