Cherry Hill Woman, 90, Killed In Crash In Margate: Police

She was the passenger in a car being driven by an 80-year-old Cinnaminson man when they collided with another car on Friday.

MARGATE CITY, NJ — A 90-year-old Cherry Hill woman was killed in an accident in Margate City on Friday, according to police.

The woman was a passenger in a car that was being driven by an 80-year-old Cinnaminson man that collided with another car. The accident happened just after noon on Sept. 20, according to Margate City police.

They were turning left onto Amherst Avenue when a car traveling north toward the Margate Toll Plaza crashed into them, police said. The passenger was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, where she later died as a result of her injuries at the hospital, police said.

No one involved in the accident has been identified as of Monday morning. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office and the Margate City Police Department are investigating the crash.
