Circus Visits South Jersey For Weeks-Long Residency
No seat is farther than 50 feet from the show.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — A brand-new circus show is setting up its striped tent at Cherry Hill Mall for the first time ever, and staying for a weeks-long residency.
"Flip Circus," a new creation from the Circus Vazquez family with more than 50 years in the industry, brings big acts right up to the audience, with no seat being farther than 50 feet away from the action.
"At the circus, we want to give people an opportunity to step away from the digital world and experience something real, live, and right in front of them," 4th-generation performer Jan Vazquez told Patch. "There's an energy you simply can't get through a screen."

Only 800 seats are available for each two-hour show that includes a taste of performances from all over the world.
An illusionist from Italy, a comedian from Ukraine, and a Guinness World Record-holding trapeze artist from Spain are all on the bill.

"That's really what the circus represents," said Vazquez. "Despite all of those differences, everyone comes together with the same purpose: to entertain and create something special for the audience. I think that diversity is a huge part of the magic."
Families will also be able to take in juggling, martial arts acts, and more, all to the tune of the Flip Circus Band.
"More than anything, we hope they leave with memories," Vazquez said of guests of the show, "...to laugh, be amazed, and have those moments where they look at each other and say, 'Did you just see that?'...the show lasts a couple of hours, but we hope the memories they create together last much longer."
Many of the acts will also be available for a meet-and-greet after the show, according to the promoters.
Tickets start at $22.88 for kids with other special family admission packages also available both in person at the box office and on the show's website.

Weeknight shows begin at 7 p.m., while weekend performance times vary.
